Ancient cannabis

Archaeologists have found a 2700-year-old burial in China that contains, among other burial goods, a supply of marijuana. The paper in Journal of Experimental Botany is surprisingly readable, and reviews surprisingly extensive records of ancient trade in cannabis, including a passage from Herodotus.
