Almost 400 years ago, a small group of terrorists tried (and failed) to blow up the British Parliament. Today, Southampton is literally filled with fireworks. They're on sale in the stores, they're set off in backyards and pubs, there are displays everywhere. (I understand that the big displays were last weekend, and there will be more next weekend as well)
