Miles

Adrian Miles has many observations on Ceres, having used it for a week of intensive conference notemaking. Of particular interest, I think, is his emphasis on the utility of using the same space for taking informal notes (scraps) as well as jottings meant to be shared with colleagues on the Web.

The advantage of publishing the scraps as well as the unscraps is simply that I now have multiple access. If I don't have my PowerBook, the notes are online. ....It's where all the bits and pieces sort of end up in various ways, and if I use it like that, then it works as my notepad/ postit notes/ bookmarks / thinking out loud in semipublic space.
